 Central idea of the poem "You Who Never Arrived "

The central idea of the poem revolves around the the poet conveying to his elusive  beloved, how he has kept searching for her and  has finally given up hope of ever  finding or meeting her. This gives the reader on insight into the mind of the poet and reform them of his believe  that man never meets his one true  love in his entire lifetime. Despite something coming tantalising close to them. The ideal beloved remains elusive forever.
