SHORT AND LONG AND 1 MINUTE SPEECH ON INDEPENDENCE DAY OF INDIA /A DAY FULL OF PROUD FOR EVERY INDIAN

 We celebrate Independence day every year on 15th of August as a national holiday because on this day our nation get independence from the British rule. 

LONG INDEPENDENCE DAY SPEECH

Good morning everyone !!!

Today we all are here to acknowledge our privilege of being born in a free India and celebrate the 75th independence day of our country. We need to ask both born before 1947 to know the pangs  of anguish of being enslaved under the Colonial rule. For every Indian in those days  ,it was indeed a Herculean task to fight against those power British rulers. Those  struggle and sacrifices should not get faded away from our memories. Thus,  on this day we should not only celebrate our freedom but also pay tribute to those freedom fighters who fought for our country and sacrificed themselves for the same. 

The idea of being an independent Nation a sovereign power lies with her to determine our future places a huge responsibility on our shoulders. The significance of it beautiful story is that this Nation has gained respect from the world for the democratic route chosen by it. We can proudly say that India has never invaded any country in its 10000 years of history .

On this occasion our thoughts done first Mahatma Gandhi the man behind our struggle for freedom and the martyr who made the supreme sacrifice for our country's Liberty. We also reminded of the relentless  struggle of our great patriotic liberated our motherland from Colonial rule.

Gandhiji was telling Liberty from both foreign rule and the indigenous social change that had long incarcerated our society. Every other Indian was guided on a part of the belief and hope for a better future. Democracy give us the right to live freely as a proud citizen of our country. Today, we are fortunate to live in one ,due to the vision and sacrifice of our freedom fighters.

There is a big celebration each year in New Delhi at Rajpath, where National Anthem is sung after the Prime Minister hoist the flag. Also, Salute is given to the national flag by firing 21 Guns with the national anthem  and flowers are also showered by Via helicopter. It is a plethora of emotions it reminds us of the pain of being in enslaveed, of the strength in unity. It define sacrifice , it gives us an example that some wars  can be won with non violence and of all the things it makes us value and cherish the freedom we have today.

On our flag , the tricolour represents different things - "SAFFRON"  signifies ' courage' and 'sacrifice', "WHITE" signifies 'peace' and 'truth', "GREEN" signifies 'faith ' and 'chilvary'. In the centre of our flag, there is an Ashok Chakra that contains 24 evenly distributed spikes.  It is our responsibility as proud citizens of the country, to sincerely perform our duty and progress together for the growth and development of our country. Keeping the sacrifices of our ancestors in mind we should take an oath to carve a better future of our motherland.

Every year on 15th August Independence Day celebrated as a national holiday in India when people remember the long face of our Nation's Independence from British rule. On August 15 1947 , India gained Independence after a series of moments ,in which many freedom fighters sacrificed their lives.  After independence on 15th August 1947, Jawaharlal Nehru became the first Indian Prime Minister to raise the national flag at the Red Fort near Delhi Lahore Gate . By  unfurling the national flag and singing the national anthem students ,teachers, parents and other individuals come together to celebrate Independence Day.

The Indian Prime Minister, in the national capital New Delhi at Red Fort also host our national flag. After that the salute is given by firing 21 Guns and helicopter showers tri colour flowers .  On our flag , the tricolour represents different things - "SAFFRON"  signifies ' courage' and 'sacrifice', "WHITE" signifies 'peace' and 'truth', "GREEN" signifies 'faith ' and 'chilvary'. In the centre of our flag, there is an Ashok Chakra that contains 24 evenly distributed spikes. We recall the great sacrifices of Bhagat Singh ,Sukhdev Rajguru, Gandhiji and other daring freedom fighters on this special day for their unforgettable contribution to India's Independence.

1 minute speech on Independence Day of India.. 

India gained independence on August 15th 1947. After independence, in our nation we acquired, all our fundamental right. We should all be proud to be an Indian and we should admire our fortune to have been born in the land of independent India. From 1857 to 1947, the lives of many Freedom Fighters and several decades of struggle ware sacrificed. For the independence of India and Indian soldier, Mangal Pandey ,in the British force was raised his voice against the British. The sacrifices of all the freedom fighter Bhagat Singh ,Khudiram Bose and Chandrashekhar Azad, who lost their life at an early age just fight for their country can never be forgotten. 

Gandhiji was the great Indian figure who gave Indians are great lesson in non violence. We are so lucky to have been given a land of peace and happiness by our forefather where we can sleep all night without fear in enjoy the whole day at school or home. People celebrate Independence Day by hosting the national flag and reciting the national anthem.
